Let’s start off by explain exactly what a responsive website is. A responsive website is a website which can adjust, adapt and stretch to the size of screen and device that it’s being viewed on. For example, if you’re viewing a website on a really small mobile screen, it will be shown the same way as it would when viewed on a larger screen. However, the website which is being viewed on a smaller screen may look a little different to when it’s viewed on a desktop as some items have been reformatted and moved about to create ease of use for the user.

It’s really important to have a responsive website as it will be a hell of a lot easier for viewers to use and navigate around. It can be extremely frustrating when you’ve trying to view a non-resopnsive website on your smart phone, and you have to zoom in to all the teeny tiny text to find what you’re after. You can also find that it can be super hard to use some menus and quick links as hove menus will not work properly, as well as it being hard to click on the thing you’re after.

Users are more likely to revisit your website if it is responsive, as it can be very off putting if it’s not and users will more than likely class it as a bad experience.

Having a responsive website for your business can also lead to an increase in sales and interaction with your clients. If clients can easily find when they’re looking for, whether that’s information, services, or items, people are bound to return to you again and again and again.
